So you've decided to get solar panels, smart move! However, you may not be sure what the next steps are in order to start generating your own clean, green energy. Thankfully here at Custom Solar we make the process straightforward from first contact to installation and support. Here's how a typical installation journey unfolds:

• Contact is made to Custom Solar (Click here for details)

• A date is arranged for the surveyor to visit and establish details about the proposed installation

• A quote is produced which contains projections for estimated generation and pay back period for the proposed system. When you are happy, a contract is produced and signed.

• A date is agreed to complete the installation, scaffolding is erected in the week of the install

• The installation takes place, this will normally take a day but can be more depending on the size of the system. You'll be given an estimate in advance.

• The system is commissioned and a handover is completed between yourself and the engineer where you'll be shown how the system works, get set up with the app to monitor generation and have any questions answered you might have

• Start enjoying the clean energy your solar system produces and the reduction in energy bills.
